British Columbians who have not yet received a voting package for the referendum on the harmonized sales tax have until midnight Friday to request one.
Elections BC has mailed more than three million ballots to registered voters across the province, though not all residents will receive a package.
Those not on the voters list, or who have not provided a current address since last moving, are among those who will not get a ballot.
Voters without a package who would like one should call the Elections BC hotline at 1-800-661-8683. Anyone without a ballot who doesn’t seek one by Friday night won’t be able to vote.
Completed ballots must be returned to Elections BC before the afternoon of Aug. 5.
