Good morning, Jack.  We have just returned from a road trip to the prairies.  Along the way we encountered two people selling not only BC cherries but Oliver cherries.  On Hwy 3 near Fernie we stopped and bought cherries from Manjit Saran.  Then at the Farmers Market in Saskatoon we met Ranjit Brar (pictured above).

Of course, we bought cherries in both locations.

PS  on our way through Jasper last Saturday we witnessed the dedication and erection of a new Haida totem pole.  It is called “Two Brothers” totem pole and was carved by 2 brothers from Haida Gwai.  There were many Haida singing and dancing.  It was very exciting to watch.
