I want to give a BIG thanks to all of the staff and volunteers who organized and helped out at the International Sunshine Festival this Saturday.  It was a great success, and it was such a wonderful opportunity for people to  celebrate the diversity of this beautiful town.  I really thought it was amazing to see everyone stay positive, have fun, and stick it out through the unpredictable (and sometimes scary) weather.

I also want to thank all the volunteers who came out to support SOICS in the parade, it wouldn’t have been possible without you! We had over 40 volunteers from 14 different countries… I think it’s fair to say that the world really did come together in Oliver!
