One item in the Parks and Recreation capital budget this year is a new slot being constructed east of the arena to allow for ice surface “snow” to be deposited out of the way of the public. This excavator is doing just that by carving out a space between the arena and the curling club. The move will allow for more parking spaces for challenged persons and better access to the building.
