Merv Nelson & Shannon Ford with Painting

Shannon Ford of Oliver BC, has just been chosen as One of Thirty
Equine Artists in a world-wide Australian competition.  The winning
entry was of Winsome Ranch’s Mare “Etched In Silver” owned by Keremeos
Thoroughbred Breeder Merv Nelson.

The painting, titled “Quiet Time in the Meadow” was juried into the
Australian show “Life At the Stud” and will be shown this summer in a
Three City Tour in Australia.

There were many entries, but only 30 pieces selected for this
International show with paintings from Canada, USA, Europe, New
Zealand and Australia.
