Doug raced last night in Penticton and unfortunately there was, from what we can tell, a mechanical problem with the car and he crashed into the wall at turn three.  He is luckily only a little worse for wear, a broken rib and some bruising, and pretty achy throughout, but he will still be able to walk down the aisle at our wedding in three weeks.  For that I cannot possibly express my gratitude. We are also very grateful to all of the businesses that sponsored us and all the people who have supported us along the way.  Special thanks to Bill Unwin at Sundance Video, Jeff Muller at Muller Motorsports, Darcy at Oliver Wrecking & Salvage, Larry at Remedy’s Rx, Carmine Magdellena at Sunlife, Kendall Motor Oil, and the Okanagan Dwarf Car Club with special thanks to Rick Taylor.
There are many others but I need to get back to taking care of Doug.

Since there is extensive damage to the car, we are done racing for the year.  Doug will be a month healing anyway.  But we do plan to rebuild, so anyone wishing to be a part of our team for next year, we will be looking for sponsors, parts, and crew.  Feel free to contact us at banditmotorsports@hotmail.ca We had a great run so far and when Doug is back up and around we will be back getting ready for next year.  We are looking forward to building a wonderful new team and car for the 2012 season.
