Town Council will be told Monday that the latest contract for water twinning – north of Oliver will service just 34 homes. $780 thousand has been committed to the project to be completed by V-Line Construction by October 1st.

The amount of money and work to be done is to get the trunk lines to Island Road at Highway 97 and service all homes along the way. The Town’s water utility has twinned all other systems south of town and east of the river.

Negotiations continue to get funding for this last portion of work.
