
Have you received your HST ballot?
That is what the poll at the right says.
We think that most people will have received it by now and action taken. BUT
Phone calls coming in to ODN that many people have not received a ballot as a lot were addressed in a civic way (house or business location number + street address) and were not deliverable.
One Post Office employees says the CPO has many boxes of ballots that will have to be sent back. The problem most likely exists in other Postal outlets as well.
If you have not received a ballot don’t go to the Post Office. Call this number and ask that a ballot be sent quickly to you mailing address. Here is the number:

You must be registered as a British Columbia voter to receive a voting package. Voters who have not received a vote package by the end of day Thursday, July 7 may call Elections BC at 1-800-661-8683 (toll-free) to register and request an HST Referendum Voting Package. The deadline to request an HST Referendum Voting Package is midnight (local time) Friday, July 22, 2011.

Ballots must be received by August 5th
