Highway 97 north of Oliver partially shut down for more than two hours Wednesday morning after a motorcycle accident. A 59 year old Kelowna man spun out of control on the hairpin turn while travelling north at about 8:30 a.m. The travelling public was delayed as traffic could use only one lane and many people took alternate routes once seeing the lineups. The unidentified man was taken to Vancouver Hospital with serious injuries.
