Do the following pictures represent graffiti, vandalism or a rite of passage? One shows that  some people will climb to any height to make their mark in life. The painting at Rotary Beach is terrible and needs to be fixed – sooner than later (a time to paint over a lot of silly art work).

One picture shows vandalism at the contractor’s site at SOSS and efforts to get rid of it. Will the class of 2011 take care of this? I don’t even want to blame that grade as 17 year olds should have more class.

I challenge the classes of 2012 and 2013 who will be going into a completely new school in about a year to commit themselves to  a higher value if they wish to leave a legacy. Fund raise for a bench in town or near the school that proudly says – “we are the grads of 2012” with a brass plaque (many citizens would help) that will be seen for 50 years. I expect more from high school students.
