The ‘Mighty Truck’ is made by  Canadian Electric Vehicles Ltd. It costs about $37,000 for our model which includes; a upgrade to a heavy duty axle (1500lb capacity), hydraulic lift for flat deck, battery upgrade to 245 amp/hour.

It is not wide but will be used for park work and is still light and narrow enough to go places the pick-ups can’t. It is supposed to keep a charge for about 80 to 90 km’s unloaded, at a max speed of 50km/h.

Above truck being delivered to the Town of Oliver  June 27th. Ready to be entered into a parade.
