BC government awards water improvement grant

chlorination contact system to be installed here

The BC government today announced 47 projects funded by the Towns for Tomorrow program with a total outlay of $17.2 million dollars.

The Town of Oliver will get 400 thousand dollars to complete a chlorination contact project at the 342nd Avenue domestic well and other work at the Tuc-el-nuit water wells.

Mayor Pat Hampson says he is ecstatic.
