With all the time, energy, work and money that has gone into the restoration of the Testalinda Creek – why were parts of the stream still blocked? Contractors have been working for months restoring the integrity of the stream and making large holding ponds to handle any amount of water.
Recently we took a picture (above) of the mud coming down the creek heading for the river and it appeared well controlled. But Wednesday for some reason – it reached a point of boiling over.
It seemed to one observer that at least one part of the creek had not been worked on – had not been cleared of mud and debris. Some explanation is needed for people living in the area as to why sandbagging was necessary this week to protect farmland.
Have all the claims been settled almost a year later?
