Progress is being made to complete the geo-thermal project at Oliver Elementary.

Enrollment is up in the whole school district.

Elementary schools – an increase of 13 and a loss of 44 in secondary schools. But the You-Learn Centres in the district are up 575 students.

The annual budget for fiscal year 2011/2012 was approved called for revenue of $24.6 million an increase of $19 thousand. Expenses are listed as $23.8 million a decrease of  $669 thousand.

The Board was told based on figures in the budget the School District is in much better financial shape than the current year.
