Creek flow muddy, – too much water and road crews on the scene near Road 15 to clean

out debris and mud. Traffic is being affected both ways on Highway 97.

ODN received a tip this morning that flooding was occurring east of the highway on land flooded last year June 13. The owners of the land were sandbagging this morning and really didn’t know who to contact for help. It would appear Argo Road Maintenance was alerted if the highway was affected. The pictures above indicate that debris was removed on both sides of the highway and much more work is needed to make the creek safe. The bottom pictures shows hay bales in the most easterly portion of the creek near Okanagan River.
