Debate will continue today on Official Community Plan amendment bylaw #1293 (re-enactment of environmental and riparian development permit areas) at the Town of Oliver.

In the last public council meeting May 9th – one staff recommended motion on the matter was defeated and a second motion was deferred until this date.

One landowner continues to remove top soil and bring in crush gravel. Picture above taken this morning shows the amount of water in the area – forming lakes. Ministry of Environment conservation officiers have examined the area. No action has been taken to our knowledge.
