Effective this July the local School District #53 will have to find more money to fund a downloaded cost of $17,816.

That will be needed to pay for a province wide scheme involving all school districts. A pool of $3 Million will be created to cover the loss protection of all school buildings including the SD #53 schools valued at $113,594,574.

Just one more problem in the budget process to be solved.
