Nearby residents in the area at 87th Street and  364th Avenue asked what was the white slime in the rising water on the land shown below. Pictures reveal the slime is white in spots and green in others.

 Algae?? Interesting to see what nature does when the pressure of tons of gravel is applied to a marshy area.
