Here are two photos of the side of the garage of the house we rent in Osoyoos.

We have only lived here three months and have been cleaning up junk in the yard from previous tenants in the past few weeks.

I do know about the Best Bloomin’ Garden Contest and I did not clean my yard for this contest, but to insire others to clean up unnecessary clutter and junk they

might have accumulated in their yards.

You can’t tell by the photos but we ended up taking two heaping trailer loads of scrap lumber to the wood recycling pile at the dump.

Plus we had one more load of old fencing and other metal that was also recycled.

I spent a lot of time weeding and raking all of this by hand.

A true eco-effort!
