Training for dangerous work

 

Last weekend the Oliver Fire Department had a rescue weekend and brought in KGC Rescue from Vancouver Island to instruct us on Swiftwater Rescue Awareness, Low Angle Rope Rescue and Auto Extrication. The attached picture is from the
Swiftwater Rescue portion of the weekend, I believe the Oliver Daily News
managed to get a few shots of us doing some of our rope work as well.
