Greg Tweedy

| On Tuesday May 10, 2011, Gregory Allan (Greg) Tweedy of Osoyoos passed away unexpectedly of an aortic aneurysm on route to hospital. Born in Princeton, Greg’s family moved to Osoyoos when he was a young child. He lived his whole life in Osoyoos. After working for a short time at the Rickshaw restaurant and Pope and Talbot mill, Greg spent the next thirty five years working for the Town of Osoyoos as an equipment operator. He was predeceased by his father and mother: Joe and Dot Tweedy and his sister Gayle. Greg will be remembered and sadly missed by his wife and best friend Linda; his treasured children Todd (Laura) of Victoria, BC, Shara (Brenden) of Surrey, BC; his dog Chief and cat Vader; his mother-in-law Nanny Kaye; brothers and sisters-in –law; many nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. The Osoyoos community residents will all miss him greatly and will forever remember him in our hearts. A memorial celebration of life was held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday May 14, 2011 at the Sonora Centre.
