Thursday 600 plus school students in Oliver flocked to the arena to celebrate the third day in the Communities in Bloom – action days. This day’s mission was to pick up as much litter on the way from Oliver’s two elementary schools and then learn more about protecting the environment.

Special thanks to the Lion’s Club for volunteering on food transportation and serving – all the community partners for making the day a success and to the Link crew from SOSS for handling all the garbage picked up by students.
