ECO fluid Systems Inc. has announced that construction is nearly complete on the advanced wastewater treatment plant that will serve the Osoyoos Indian Band’s new Senkulmen Enterprise Park in Oliver, British Columbia, Canada.
The park and the wastewater plant design incorporate environmentally advanced features including solar power generation and high quality effluent discharge to constructed wetlands. The plant is based around ECO fluid’s proprietary technology allows for efficient and economical Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR). Sub-systems include a Rotary Drum Screen, Drum Microscreen Filtration, and an Open Channel UV Disinfection system. The entire process is automatic and SCADA monitored/controlled, reducing operator’s direct on-site input requirements. The controls and process equipment are housed in a state-of-the-art building with architecturally defined native features.
