Safety fencing taken down today around the Sabyan corner at 350th. This picture shows what has gone up and some of the safety issues. The area pictured now contains rods that could impale a person if fallen upon and a deep hole to fall into  – if the barricades were kicked out of the way. The fencing utilized prior was interlocked and no accidents occurred.

The story goes that a contractor will be on site tomorrow to do as much levelling as possible and a ledge would be constructed behind the sidewalk so that fencing is not necessary.

If a great amount of fill is brought in – it will be interesting to see how the shaping of the land will be done to complete the project.
