2 former SOSS student have excelled in first year engineering at UBC Okanagan!  Mark DesBrisay (left ) and Tanner Phillips (3rd from left in pix below) were members of the first year Engineering #1 winning team.  Their task was to create a mechanism that not only crushed cans, but also loaded, sorted, counted and collected the aluminum cans.  They used their budget of $150 to build their machine and took home the trophy out of a 35 team competition.  Way to go Oliver (SOSS) Alumni!
