Join Hester Creek next Thursday the 23rd of August as they welcome country star Lisa Brokop and her husband Paul Jefferson and special guest Jaclyn Guillou.
After Lisa had a successful career as a solo artist she married a Nashville local Paul Jefferson. Lisa and Paul met at a coffee shop in Nashville and after starting to write together and a couple hundred coffees; a marriage was born. One day, Paul joined her on stage for a special one-song duo and thus the Jeffersons were born. They have a beautiful daughter named Ivy, who loves to listen to Mom and Dad on the radio and they now tour and travel as a family. Accompanying the duo next week is Vancouver Jazz vocalist Jaclyn Guillou. Jaclyn comes from a musical background being a cousin of Lisa’s. She has performed on stage from an early age, enrolled in voice, dance and vocal lessons. Jaclyn’s debut studio album, To The City, boasts original jazz music with infectious vocal talent that exhibits a polished and playful new sound. She has played at great jazz venues and events around the world including the Birdland Jazz Club (NYC), the Rex Jazz Club (Toronto) and the Vancouver International Jazz Festival.
