Donald Robert Coy

February 7, 1948 – December 5, 2016

On Monday December 5, 2016, Mr. Donald Robert Coy of Oliver passed away peacefully at his home at the age of 68 years. He was predeceased by his parents Lyle and Annabelle Coy and niece Lillian.

Don will be fondly remembered by his brother Doug (Betty) Coy, sister Beverley Downer nieces and nephews: Kimberley, Chris (Barb), Steven (Celine), Catherine (Franco), Nancy, Brian (Barbara) and Lillian’s husband Bill; great-nieces and nephews Melissa, Jessica, Cole, Justin, Emily, Emilieann, Megan and Kelsey.

Don worked in carpentry for 25 years for Don Henderson at Oliver Sash and Door and then for 29 years at Mike’s Auto. Don loved cars, renovating his house, working in his garden and was especially proud of the ’51 Chevy truck he built.

A celebration reception will be held at 1:00 pm Monday December 12th, 2016 at the Oliver Elks Hall. A graveside urn interment will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday December 13th, 2016 at the Penticton Lakeview Cemetery.
