Southern Okanagan Secondary School will attempt to move up the final rankings when it takes to the turf today at the BC High School AA Girls Field Hockey Championship, being staged in Surrey.
The Hornets came through with a 1-0 victory over Brentwood in a shootout this morning in an elimination playoff game.
The teams had tied at 2 Wednesday during round-robin play.
SOSS now faces JL Crowe, the host team, in a game which will determine the fifth/sixth place finishers.
JL Crowe entered Provincials ranked fifth, while the Hornets entered the Championship as the seventh seed.
