The Knights of Columbus Christmas Hamper Crew
This group of people, and about 6 or 7 more who had already left, helped to distribute over 200 hampers on Saturday morning, to men, women and families in need in Oliver. The operation went like a ‘smoothly oiled machine’ said one patron who sat for a while and had a coffee and a treat and talked with friends. Third from the left in the back row was Mohammad Al Lwisi, our newest resident of Oliver and one of the Syrian refugees, who was helping out, talking and meeting people. Thanks to all the volunteers, and all of the people and businesses in Oliver who help to make the program as successful as it is.
And Merry Christmas from the Knights of Columbus.
