Students (mainly grades 8-9-10) left their classrooms at about 9 am today at SOSS in Oliver

The students indicated that teachers has told them NOT to lose school time. When asked about why now and not Thursday, one student indicated that it would not be right to look like you are siding with one group – when the protest is about being used in a contract dispute.
