Obituary

Lila Ruth Magnus 

September 6, 1961 – December 10, 2013

Lila passed away peacefully early on the morning of December 10th.  She is survived by her mom, Irene Magnus, her sisters, Beth (& Vic) Neufeld and Carol (& Hank) Schurink, her niece and nephew,  her grand-nieces and grandnephew, her son & daughter Tim and Becky Schurman, close friend Liz Richens, and many other family members and friends. 

We will greatly miss her sharp wit, sense of humour and spirited character.  

We will remember Lila’s infectious laugh, the way she caused us to love her, and for how she loved animals.  If she could, she would have taken in hundreds of cats and dogs and cared for them so they would have a good life.  Lila was a legendary icon in Oliver’s history; those who knew her will certainly have a colorful story or two to share.  Rest well, Lila, you are free to fly!
