Adult bicycles are being collected again today from 9-4, at Christ
the King Catholic Church, to be sent to communities in West Africa.
Bicycles For Humanity arranges for second hand adult bicycles to be sent to
communities where they are used for various things – as a way to get to
work, as the school bus, the town taxi, the mail delivery service. even as
the ambulance!
Note the green vintage Raleigh, foldable bicycle at the front of the group
of bikes. The serial number is NP 6220507, indicating it was made in
Nottingham, England, in November of 1976. Cleaned up, it could be worth who
knows how much, and it could be yours for a donation to B for H.
