This shows an increase of 7.36% over 2012 mainly because of construction of the Frank Venables Auditorium with more financing charges coming on line – and because of Mosquito Control costs rising in South Okanagan.
Priorities stated by Patton:

Proceed with sewer upgrades on the west side of Highway 97 at Gallagher Lake
Better communication methods to notify residents of Area C
Enhance relationships with Osoyoos Indian Band
