Three pieces of equipment and more than two crews responded to a fire at Loose Bay Campsite just before 11pm. Loose Bay was providing space for temporary housing for about 25 people at the time of the fire according to the manager. The campsite is located at the top of Secrest Hill near Covert Farms.

No one hurt, what is believed to be a camper unit (off truck) was destroyed.

A lot of smoke. Members of the Oliver Fire Department made quick work of controlling the fire and most units had cleared the scene within an  half hour.
