This year Oliver Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs is raising funds for our youth centre in Oliver. We are excited to continue our new, local fundraising program to help raise money towards this goal.
The Farm Bag fundraising program enables us to sell an assortment of fresh fruit and vegetables as a monthly subscription. This means that you pay in advance for up to 5 months of fresh produce. Each month, on a set date, you can come to the Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs in Oliver to collect your produce. Each set package is a collection of seasonal items. You can expect about 20lbs in each order, consisting of 7-10 different types of produce.
We invite you to buy your fresh produce through us. It won’t cost more than the supermarket, it’s fresher, it’s high quality and it supports us. We receive 20% of every sale! Even more, the farmers who grow this food are local and are receiving fair wages for their efforts.
If you buy 3-5 months, then each month costs $30. If you buy 1-2 months then each month costs $34. You buy online, by visiting www.farmbagfundraiser.com and selecting our group. You can always sign up later in the season for the remaining months. The first delivery date will be set in early October, and the last in February. The deadline for orders delivered in October is September 28, 2012.
